InfantSee is a public health program in which babies under 1 year of age receive a comprehensive eye examination by a participating optometrists, at no charge. An InfantSEE assessment between 6 and 12 months of age is recommended to determine if an infant is at risk for eye or vision disorders. Our optometrists at Miamisburg Vision Care want to make sure your infant’s eyes are developing normally. An InfantSee examination is more comprehensive than the screening your child receives at the pediatrician’s office. The optometrist will check for signs of near or farsightedness, lazy eye, crossed eyes or severe cases such as cataract or even cancer. It is best to schedule your child’s InfantSEE exam when the baby is fed and well rested. Call our office for more information and to schedule your baby’s first InfantSEE eye exam!
